Local Owling #2

3:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Join retired Sac State biology professor Gene Trapp for a late afternoon and early evening search for owls. Owls live in a variety of habitats and you will have the opportunity to see the best local spots. Look for Burrowing Owls, Barn Owls, Great-horned Owls, Short-eared Owls, and Screech Owls. Take a snack and beverage. Two owl trips are scheduled 15 minutes apart. They will cover the same route but in a different order and have different leaders. This will keep the groups smaller for better owl viewing. Space limited to 20 people per trip.

Adults (17+): $20

Kids (12-16yrs): $10

Under 12: Free

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. On-site registration will be available for field trips if they are not sold out. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
Please be aware that by registering for this event, you grant Yolo Basin Foundation permission to use any photographs, recordings, and images of your likeness taken during this event.
